DAMATURU STUDY CENTRE, DAMATURU YOBE STATE
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Damaturu Study Centre, Damaturu, Yobe State, was established in 2005, but became fully operational in August, 2006. The Yobe State Government then provided a facility for the take-off of the centre but was later taken over by the Teaching Service Board of Yobe State.
A permanent facility was then provided by the state government on September 25th, 2007. The facility has only five (05) offices with no halls nor a theater. There are dilapidated structures that can be converted into classrooms and lecture/multipurpose hall.
The centre is blessed with a vast land that could be developed for other meaningful purposes.
