The Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and General Studies (CEGS), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Juliet Inegbedion, on Wednesday, 10 November 2021, paid a visit to Fugar Community Study Centre, Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State to monitor the ongoing Pen-On-Paper examination.

Inegbedion, was received by the Director, Fugar Community Study Centre, Prof. Jonathan Adiele, who also guided his visitor on a facility tour of the study centre after he, along with his senior members of staff, had accorded the visiting professor a warm welcome.

The CEGS director, apart from her meticulous inspection of the examination processes, including the checking-in of candidates, also inspected the examination hall, the sanitary and medical facilities as well as other installations relevant to the administration of the exercise.

Inegbedion, after a painstaking assessment of facilities at the centre, expressed satisfaction at what she saw and gave a nod to the way and manner the examination was being conducted.

While interacting with staff of the community study centre, she urged them to cooperate and work relentlessly with the centre director to ensure that the development and growth of the centre is accelerated.

“It is only when there is a speedy development of the centre that the goals and vision of the founding fathers of the great university, National Open University of Nigeria, would be actualised,” she said.
