About Directorate of Advancement and Linkages (DAL)
The Directorate of Advancement and Linkages (DAL) was hitherto a Unit in the Directorate of Research Administration and Advancement (DRAA). It was upgraded to a full-fledged Directorate with expanded functions in April 2021.
The expanded functions comprise exploring opportunities for working relationships and collaboration with local and international institutions, agencies, industry and individuals in areas of training, research and overall development and advancement of the University.
Housed on the ground floor of the OPD Building on the main campus, the Directorate operates and conducts a multidisciplinary role with a core mandate to attract necessary teaching, learning, research and infrastructural facilities to the University through fundraising, alumni relations, collaborations and partnerships.
The Directorate is domiciled in the Vice-Chancellery and charged with the following core functions:

- Support and assist academic and administrative interactions as well as exchanges that encompass both undergraduate and post-graduate traineeship schemes and other collaborative arrangements as may be worked out between NOUN and other institutions and agencies.
The Directorate has the following four operational units, namely:
