The attention of the University Senate has been drawn to the issue of dearth of course materials for the 400 and 500 levels of B. aquaculture and Fisheries Management programme. consequently, the Management is left with no other option than to advise all students who are currently registered for the programme to change to any other Bachelor of Agriculture programme of choice.
The newly created in-house university portal is fast stabilising and has in the first three months of its official launch, recorded about 14,000 fresh admissions from applicants, the Vice-Chancellor said.
Prof Abdalla Uba Adamu said, while playing host to the management of an online newspaper, DAILY NIGERIAN led by its publisher, Ja’afar Ja’afar, that it was unprecedented and the first time for the university to record up to that number during any of the previous admissions.
