Adesina at the correctional centre in Lagos

The National Coordinator, Special Study Centres for the Nigerian Correctional Service, and a staff of the Directorate of Learner Support Service of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Mrs. Modupe Adesina, has recently visited the Maximum-Security Custodial Centre, Lagos State, on a facility tour.

The visit was part of the move to verify the facilities in correctional custodial centres and upgrade them to fit the ideal NOUN correctional centres.

Adesina also visited the inmates students undergoing the 2023_1 e-exam at the correctional custodial centres and was impressed with the adequate coordination of the examination by the NOUN Coordinator, custodial centre, Kiri Kiri, Mr. Sunday Agboola, and his team.

“The work at Kiri Kiri correctional custodial centre by the team is quite commendable. I’m very impressed at what I saw,” she said.

The national coordinator has already visited and inspected different correctional centres across the country.
