In its drive to record an increased enrollment rate, through making the presence of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) felt in Azare town, the management of the Azare Community Study Centre, Bauchi State, paid a courtesy visit to the 133 Special Forces Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Azare.

The team was led by the director of the study centre, Mr. Bulama Mshelia, and was accompanied by the senior staff of the centre.

Mshelia thanked the Commading Offcer for making out time to receive him and his team, informing the commandant and all the officers of the Nigerian Army present that NOUN is the fastest growing Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institution with the widest reach which provides education without barrier.

The director explained that Azare community is blessed to have a centre of such a flexible university that is ever ready to cater for the educational needs of the teeming population of Nigeria.

He explained the benefits of enrolling and the easy access to quality education and flexible learning process of the university via Open and Distance Learning.

Mshelia also explained the uniqueness of the system in terms of flexibility and affordability, as well as the admission processes, various faculties and the convenient stress-free nature of the system.

In his reaction, the Commanding Officer, Lt. Col F. O. Atakele expressed his appreciation for the sensitisation and awareness about NOUN and promised to advocate for the university to attract more enrollment to the centre.

CLOSURE OF TMA FOR 2024_2

This is to inform all Study Centre Directors that the 2024_2 TMA will close on Friday 10th January, 2025.

Students are strongly encouraged to complete and submit all their TMAs before the respective closing dates, as the TMAs will no longer be available for submission after these deadlines.

Please ensure that all students are properly informed of these deadlines.
