The Management of  Asaga-Ohafia Community Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has held a 1-day orientation exercise for both the old and new students at the centre in Abia State.

The exercise, according to the centre director, Dr. Nkata U. Kalu, was meant to inform students about the operation of NOUN as an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institution, whose philosophy is anchored on flexibility, affordability and cost-effectiveness, among others.

Nkata, while explaining the university’s expectations on the part of students during the forthcoming examination scheduled to kick-start on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, also admonished them to shun acts capable of putting the university into disrepute.

He enjoined them to be good ambassadors of the institution as well as the need of taking their studies seriously by focusing on getting excellent results.
