Badagry centre visits NIS Seme

A team from the Badagry Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), led by the director of the centre, Dr. Julius Paul Eyanuku, has paid an advocacy visit to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Seme Border.

They were welcomed by the Comptroller, Douglas Tanko Audu, alongside his personnel, who accorded the team a very warm reception.

Eyanuku explained that their mission centred on students enrollment into the institution in which he highlighted the benefit of various programmes being offered by NOUN.

Respondsing, the comptroller explained that most of his personnel were on shift and out-of-base duties, and promised the team a re-invitation for the advocacy drive to avail a larger audience.

He said the next time the team visited again, they will have about 400 personnel to be sensitised about NOUN and its programmes on one of their parade days.

The director, on behalf of the university management, appreciated the comptroller for the friendly reception and accepted to honour the re-invitation.

The advocacy team also went to the French Speaking Section of the Nigeria Immigration Service, as some fliers were handed out during the visit.
