Kaduna centre director

The Management of Kaduna Study Centre under the leadership of its director, Mr. Abdullahi Yusuf, has appeared on the popular Federal Radio Cooperation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna. Hausa programme, “Hannu da Yawa,” and answered questions relating to the operation of the university for two hours.

This was in sync with the topmost priority of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, of ensuring massive enrollment of students and inform Nigerians about the existence of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in all ramifications.

NOUN News recalls that the General Manager of the station, Mallam Buhari Auwalu had promised to give out airtime to the centre for advocacy outreach during a recent visit to by the study centre.

“Hannu da Yawa” is one of the prime programmes at the station with a wide-range of followers across Nigeria and some parts of the neighbouring countries.

Yusuf, who discussed the historical trend in the evolution of the centre, explained the three basic philosophies of affordability, accessibility and flexibility driving the operation of the university.

He also highlighted the opportunities of enrolling into the university, while grey areas were substantially cleared by the visiting director.

The programme entertained a number of phone calls from within the state and across other states of the federation.
