Lagos Study center DES students with zonal office Director Prof.F.Fatimayin and Deputy Registrar (Mrs.) Mana Ndong at the event
Department of Educational Studies of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), 300 level students have donated essential medical equipment to Lagos Office sickbay.
The donation, which took place at the Study centre, is aimed at improving healthcare services available to students and Staff members.
Some Items donated to the sickbay including a hospital bed, bedsheets and pillowcases, a ceiling fan, an electric fan, both automatic and manual blood pressure monitoring machines, and as well as some first aid equipment’s.
The zonal Director of Lagos Office, Prof. Foluke Fatimayin who was present at the event, lauded the students for their initiative and generosity .
Describing the gesture as commendable and impactful, noting that it reflects a strong sense of responsibility and care for the university community.
She further stated that the contribution would be brought to the attention of the Vice-Chancellor and other relevant authorities, emphasizing that the students’ efforts deserve wider recognition.
Moreover, at the event were some representatives of the Lagos study Centre, led by the Deputy Registrar Mrs. Mana Ndong and the management of the Sick bay.
