The director, Olusegun Obasanjo Centre for African Studies (OOCAS), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja, Prof. Eserinune McCarty Mojaye, has said that he was impressed with the conduct of the ongoing 2023_2 e-Exams at Port Harcourt Study Centre, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Mojaye made the statement in a chat with _NOUN News_ during his exams monitoring visit to the centre on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.
The professor of Communication, who was the centre director of Port Harcourt Study Centre about two years ago, saw his visit as a homecoming and relished the reception accorded him which he described as warm and hearty.
“This is my home. My visit is truly a homecoming.I’m so happy about the warm and hearty welcome accorded me by the centre director and the staff although I did not give them any advance notice about my visit (of course we are charged not to give any advance notice),” he said, adding that everybody at the centre just wanted to hug him and talk about old times.
Mojaye described the administration of the exams as very orderly and peaceful.
He commended the staff and management of the centre for being up and doing in exams administration.
He also described the centre as neat and serene, while praising the centre director, Dr. Nnenna Chukwuma, for maintaining a decent outlook of the campus.
