Director, Asaba Study Centre, Prof. Chibuogwu Nnaka (Standing) addressing officers and staff of Delta State Ministry of Higher Education on Tuesday

The Director, Asaba Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Asaba, Delta State, Prof. Chibuogwu Nnaka, has stated that the West Africa’s premier Open and Distance Learning (ODL) university is flexible in operation and affordable to all Nigerians.

Nnaka made the assertion when he led the advocacy team of Asaba Study centre on advocacy campaign to the Delta State Ministry of Higher Education, Asaba, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

She sensitised staff of the ministry on the entry requirements into NOUN programmes, mode of operation and instructional delivery.

Nnaka also enlightened her audience on programmes available at the university, the various faculties and study centres, before she underscored the flexibility and affordability of the programmes of the university.

A director in the ministry, Mrs. Juliet Odobor, who received the NOUN delegation on behalf of the commissioner, expressed delight at the advocacy visit even as she hurriedly assembled staff of the ministry to grant audience to the visitors.

Accompanying Nnaka on the visit were Florence Nzekwu, Emeka Iyamah and Patrick Ochuba, who distributed the advocacy flyers.

There was a question and answer session. Advocacy souvenirs were also given out to the two directors who attended the advocacy session.
