Professor Dipo Omisakin of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has visited the Gombe Study Centre where he commended the process and the orderly conduct of the ongoing 2022_1 e-examination.
The Director of the centre, Dr. Adamu Bappah, who was delighted with the visit, took the professor round the halls where the exercise was going on.
Omisakin had monitored the administration of 8:00am session, which described as noise-free as well as secured.
“The examination halls are adequate for the session of the examination; well ventilated, adequately spaced in compliance with COVID-19 protocol and well lit,” he said.
He expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise and commended the centre director for his commitment and determination in ensuring a hitch-free and seamless exercise.
The visitor, who showed his satisfaction with the students’ behaviours as they were being punctual, well behaved, also disclosed that no case of examination malpractice was recorded.
He also took note of three physically-challenged students.
Omisakin commended the management of the centre for harmonious working relationship and urged them to keep the flag flying and continue moving the centre forward.
