The Director, Abeokuta Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr.Oyekunle Adegboyega, has paid a working visit to the Office of the Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Adegboyega, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the Deputy Governor, shared NOUN’s mission of using innovative information and communication technology to offer flexible, affordable, and high-quality education to her students.

The centre director also emphasised that NOUN aims to bring education directly to the doorstep of every aspiring learner in Ogun State.

In her response, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, sought to know about the role of study centres within an online institution, as well as the rationale for state’s support to a federal university.

The Deputy Governor expressed support for NOUN and pledged to advocate for the university.
