A total of 11 new incubatees have been inducted in the South-east Incubation Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
The ceremony, held both virtually and physically, was administered by the Director, Entrepreneurship and General Studies of the university, Dr. Samuel Awolumate.
Coordinator of the South-east centre, Dr. Loveth Ekwueme, said the new incubatees are students who participated during the 2022_2 GST302 (Business, Creation & Growth) presentation.
She stated that incubatees were selected based on their creative and innovative ideas in business plans, adding that their showcased products were wonderful and outstanding.
As incubates, the coordinator said , they will be mentored and guided on entrepreneurship education for provision of advance and technical know-how to compete with the challenges of business in 21st Century.
On the part of the inductees, Ekwueme advised them to be serious on their products development as they have ample opportunity to win grants, stressing that where there are challenges, they should not hesitate to communicate for direction.
