The Management of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has resuscitated and reconstituted the board to manage and regulate the activities of the university’s Staff School, located in Kaduna State.

He said the management of the university has now resuscitated and reconstituted the board.
The chairman added that efforts made by the management to resuscitate and reconstitute the board was for the betterment of the school, the teachers, staff, the parents and the host community as a whole.
Butswat explained that the school will benefit from the project because a lot of critical decisions have been tabled and decisions were made upon them.
“There were exchange of ideas and we have started thinking of establishing a Junior Secondary School (JSS 1-3) specifically from the next academic session. There were very productive interactions,” the DVC added.
According to him, on the issue of school fees, a number parents have been cooperating and many more have promised to pay and the board had already designed a criteria to encourage the payment of the fees.
