Virtual interactive session of the Lagos Mainland Study Centre

The Director, Lagos Mainland Study Centre 1, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Ofe Inua, has called on students to make use of social media platforms provided by the study centre to access information for their academic and social activities at the centre

Inua made this known during the staff-students monthly interactive exercise that took place via zoom on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the study centre.

The director advised the students to join various social media platforms such as WhatsApp groups available at the centre and other platforms to enable them to catch up with academic and social activities at the centre.

She said joining social media platforms will enable students to participate fully in their various programmes and also to interact with the study centre staff for information and challenges they may encounter in their academic journey.

“Use this medium to ask vital questions about your courses, programmes, online facilitation, TMAs and examinations in return, receive necessary feedback with satisfaction,” she said

The zoom interactive session was moderated and coordinated by Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ekeh.

The session also featured Faculty Desk Officers and Unit Heads making presentations on non-examinable courses, projects seminars and the penalty for examination misconduct.

The session further allowed students to ask questions on gray areas which satisfactory answers were provided.
